We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who is able to join us!

There will be a 6-hour drinks package with a wide variety of beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks to cover cocktail hour to 9.30pm. We suggest everyone drinks up during this time!*Note: Spirits and cocktails not included.

We’re keeping things relaxed with a cocktail-style reception. There won’t be a traditional sit-down meal or assigned seating - just good food, good drinks and plenty of time to mingle and hit the dance floor!

Yes! Children are welcome at the wedding weekend, and on the wedding day ceremony and cocktail hour 2.30-5.00pm. But, we would love the reception (5.00pm to late) to be adults only.We've created a page with more details so click below to have a read through and reach out to Michael or Loren if you have any questions.

We’ve put a tentative booking in place with Coastal Babysitters from 5:00–8:00pm for up to 20 children. We’ve done this so we have the option available while we get a better idea of how many little ones will be joining us and whether families would like to use the service. The booking can be extended if needed!Once you’ve RSVP’d, we’ll be in touch to work out what arrangement works best for your family.At 5:00pm, the babysitters will collect the children from the venue and take them back to the resort, where they’ll have dinner, play and be entertained for the evening. Our reception finishes at 10:00pm, so if you’d like to extend the babysitting beyond 8:00pm, just let Michael and Loren know and we can arrange this.We’ll be honest - we won’t have all the answers for every individual child, so please be gentle with us as we figure it all out! If you’re not comfortable with the babysitting option, you’re more than welcome to have one of you duck out early to look after your little one. And if the whole thing feels like too much of a mission and you decide not to come, we completely understand - there’s absolutely no pressure. We just want everyone to have a fun, relaxed night! ❤️

No, but if you are staying with us at Sandstone Holiday Resort, the wedding will be just across the road. You can either walk or drive over, and you can leave your car in the carpark overnight.

Flying and driving:We suggest landing at Brisbane airport as there are regular affordable flights internationally and domestically. There are also affordable car rental options, we've suggested Alpha car rental and have linked the details on the travel and stay page.To drive from Brisbane Airport to the wedding venue or resort takes ~50mins.Sandstone Point HotelAddress: 1800 Bribie Island Rd, Sandstone Point QLD 4511

Yes, there's a lot of parking at Sandstone Point Hotel and you can leave your car there overnight.

Yes! If you don't want to stay at the resort we'd suggest staying in either Brisbane or Sunshine Coast so you have ~1hr travel time to the wedding venue.Airbnb or booking.com have lots of options.
